Academic Background

Born in Alaska, Tinsley Hammond was raised in Texas and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Tinsley has been featured in shows in New York City, Boston, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Lecce, Italy. In 2014 she received her MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University.
From 2015-2017, Tinsley worked as an Adjunct Professor and Creative Project Coordinator for Stanbridge University in Irvine, CA.
Answering a call to heal herself and help those around her on a deeper level, Tinsley left her roles in academia to pursue an in-depth spiritual awakening and practice. She studied tarot reading under the guidance of Stephanie Salt and was attuned to the original form of Japanese Reiki with Rainbow Raaja. In 2021 she became a Master Certified Life Coach with the Certified Life Coach Institute.
